Aeon Staff Member to Present at National Trust Conference

Aeon Conservation Intern Kendra Parzen will present at the National Trust’s annual PastFoward Conference in Washington, DC this week.  Her presentation “The Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset: What Does It Mean for Heritage Tourism?” focuses on the opportunities provided to heritage sites by this emerging technology while also exploring the continuing limitations of virtual reality.  As one of four winners of the National Council for Preservation Education’s student paper competition, she will present at their Learning Lab entitled New Thinking, New Perspectives in Historic Preservation taking place between 9:45 and 11:15 on Thursday, November 5.  If you’re attending the conference, please stop by!
