Aeon principal Alfonso Narvaez gave a three day seminar at Mount Vernon for about thirty participants at Mount Vernon’s Distance Learning Center. The program is part of the National Preservation Institute’s seminar series and included one day on Historic Structure Reports and two days focused on Preservation Maintenance. Mount Vernon’s Director of Preservation Dennis Pogue gave the class a superb walking tour of the site, highlighting various preservation and maintenance efforts at the property. Participants included folks from around the country.
