Aeon is working with Turner/Smoot Construction on the second phase of the U.S. Capitol Dome restoration. Our areas of responsibility include art work protection, historic preservation consulting, and environmental monitoring. The conservation team includes Aeon as the lead entity working in close collaboration with engineer Michael Henry of Watson & Henry; Wendy Jessup of Wendy Jessup & Associates; and Cassie Myers of Myers Conservation. The project is currently projected at about two years. Aeon was also involved in the first phase of the dome restoration project as a sub to the Christman Company and Gilbane Construction.
